Vehicles in German Town Found Smeared with Nazi Symbols in Human Blood, Law Enforcement State

Authorities mentioned they were contacted by a individual who discovered a vehicle in Hanau marked with red-colored substance

Roughly fifty vehicles have been marked with what appears to be human bodily fluid in the German town of Hanau close to Frankfurt, police confirm law enforcement.

Automobiles, exterior walls and postal boxes were defaced, occasionally with Nazi symbols, they stated in a statement.

Police say they were notified during the night on Wednesday evening, when a individual discovered that a vehicle in the Lamboy district of Hanau had been covered with a reddish-hued liquid.

The fluid had been drawn in the form of a Nazi symbol, they added.

Officers then discovered multiple other marked automobiles and house walls in the surrounding area.

Nazi symbols are illegal in Germany under regulations outlawing the public display of Nazi-era symbols.

Officials state initial examinations indicate the fluid was most likely blood from a person.

"There is still no indication as to its source; authorities are currently not informed of any physical harm in association with the occurrence," they added.

City officials announced they were working "to unravel the incident" and have requested to the public for tips.

An important political figure said the vandalism left him without words and had to be solved rapidly.

"This incident affects the center of Hanau and reopens the trauma of the far-right attack in 2020," he stated on a platform, mentioning the death of nine victims by a shooter targeting people of foreign heritage in February 2020.
