Anthony Joshua prepares to battle Jake Paul in an eight-bout match which will be broadcast live on the streaming platform.
British boxer Joshua said he will "overwhelm entirely" Jake Paul and "break" his opponent as the two fighters came face-to-face to promote the upcoming bout.
Former two-time unified heavyweight champion Joshua faces social media star turned fighter Jake Paul - in what is, by the numbers, a huge disparity - at Miami's arena on 19 December.
Fighter's Mentality
"I plan to damage his features and damage his physique. I aim to demonstrate I'm the better fighter," Joshua, 35 years old, stated.
"I plan to overwhelm him. That's how fighters think.
"I'm going to seriously aim to hurt him. That's what I want to do."
Respectful Interaction
In spite of such comments, a composed Anthony Joshua and internet personality Paul - usually recognized for his dramatics - exchanged pleasantries and remained civil with each other.
Paul instead attacked ex Joshua's rival Francis Ngannou and described him as "not serious" after the Cameroonian declined a bout proposal.
Taking Aim at Fury
Joshua, in the meantime, took aim at UK opponent Fury - and refused a £1m bet 'Tyson Fury' claims he will make on a victory for Paul.
"Jake Paul outshines Tyson Fury - he's present here," the boxer commented.
"I acknowledge that."
Legitimate Opponent
In spite of saying he intends to hurt Jake Paul, Joshua chose not to speak negatively about his rival's fighting skills.
"Jake Paul is a legitimate boxer," he said.
Jake Paul's Background
Jake Paul - who initially became famous on the television network - has mainly fought mixed martial artists or declining opponents since turning professional.
He was defeated by British fighter Fury in 2023.
Commercial Success
Nevertheless, the relative newcomer continues to be one of the sport's biggest money-making draws, regularly earning substantial paydays.
Prediction and Confidence
The 28 year old forecast a knockout win in the fourth or fifth round and stated he would stop the highly-expected match between Joshua and Fury, which is allegedly in the works for 2026.
"It will be me versus Tyson Fury in the coming year," Jake Paul stated.
Physical Difference
As the two fighters participated in the customary stare-down, with their height and weight contrast clearly visible, it emphasized just how improbable this entire matchup is - and how amazing it is that the fight is truly happening.
